Twintex PCL10-1000 is 10V 1000A 10kW programmable DC power supply, engineered in a standard 3U rack-mount design and high power density. PCL10-1000 offers a high-current solution for ATE system integration and laboratory testing. It delivers an output of 0-10V and 0-1000A with low ripple and high precision. Standard interfaces include RS232/RS485 (ModBus-RTU), with optional LAN and analog external control available to facilitate remote operation and sequence programming.
The PCL10-1000 incorporates multiple protection mechanisms, such as OVP, OTP, ACF and short circuit protection (configured in CC-operation), and supports parallel connection for current expansion (factory-configured) up to 10kA. It is widely used for temperature rise testing and reliability verification of ultra-low-voltage, high-current devices:
- For thermal cycling test of low-resistance current loop, busbar, conductor
- To drive large resistive loads
- Employed in applications that require large currents for generating magnetic fields
- To carry out electrolysis
- For calibration of DC current sensor
- For measurement of DC current shunt
