20kV (40kV peak to peak) plasma, often generated via dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) or corona discharge, is primarily used for high-energy industrial and medical applications, including surface cleaning, activation, and thin-film deposition in manufacturing.
AHV 20kV 200mA 4000W series high voltage AC power supply provides 20kV (40kV peak to peak) high-stability high voltage pulses at high frequency (1kHz to 100kHz) to plasma systems. The HV output is from 0 to 20kV adjustable at either a fixed frequency or an adjustable frequency range selectable from 1kHz to 100kHz.
Options of fixed frequency range: 1kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz, 5kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, 20kHz, 30kHz, 40kHz, 50kHz, 100kHz
Options of adjustable frequency range: 2kHz ~ 8kHz; 5kHz ~ 10kHz; 10kHz ~ 20kHz; 10kHz ~ 30kHz; 20kHz ~ 30kHz; 20kHz ~ 40kHz; 20kHz ~ 50kHz; 30kHz ~ 40kHz; 30kHz ~ 50kHz; 50kHz ~ 100kHz
Key applications of 20kV (40kVpp) plasma include:
- Surface treatment and activation: used to increase the surface energy (wettability) of plastics, metals, and glass, enabling better adhesion for printing, painting, or bonding.
- Surface sterilization: used to deactivate bacteria and microorganisms on medical devices and, at lower temperatures (<50°C), for food safety.
- Agricultural applications: used to remove ethylene gas and sterilize storage environments to prolong the freshness of produce.
- Material processing and coatings: used in industrial manufacturing for precision etching, cleaning, and applying thin-film functional coatings.
- Environmental protection: used in industrial settings to detoxify exhaust gases and manage industrial waste through plasma oxidation.
- Energy catalyst activation: used to improve the efficiency of fuel cell catalysts by increasing active site density.
